Visa Information for International Travel
Residents of most countries now need a visa to travel to the United States. Confirm current visa requirements with your nearest consulate or embassy.
All travelers should be familiar with current U.S. visa requirements.
Apply Early
Be sure to allow plenty of time for the visa application process - the wait time for getting an embassy or consulate appointment can be several months long. Check the consulate website for visa wait times.
Your embassy may require you to submit a Letter of Invitation from Trimble, as one of the items you include with your U.S. Visa application. An Official Letter of Invitation may be requested when you register for Trimble Dimensions 2010 by checking the box indicated on the Conference registration form. Be sure to provide your email information on the Conference registration form. The Letter of Invitation will be sent shortly after your registration is processed and payment has been received.
To qualify for a U.S. Visa to attend Trimble Dimensions 2010, applicants must show the following:
- Purpose of trip is to enter the U.S. for business
- Plan to remain for a specific, limited period; and
- Have a residence outside of the U.S. as well as other binding ties that will ensure return abroad at the end of your U.S. visit.
